A classically trained artist and illustrator, Michael studied Fine Arts at SUNY Fredonia. He took an interest in improv in 1999 as a founding member of the shortform improv group, The Improv Society, in which he subsequently served as the artistic director.
Michael has trained professionally at the Second City Cleveland, the Magnet Theater, Upright Citizens Brigade, and numerous independent workshops. He has studied with Asaf Ronen, Tara Copeland, Armando Diaz, James Eason, Jean Villepique, Betsy Stover, and more.
Michael has been a part of many teams and shows at the Magnet Theater, including The Incredible Comic Book, Art Project, Sock, and Yum Yum Bangkok. Apart from Rap Crimes Division, Michael can also be seen performing with the Magnet house team, King Canute, and his upcoming solo-improv show, LEGION.
